Starring Emilia Clarke (Game of Thrones), and Henry Golding (Crazy Rich Asians) and co-written by Emma Thompson, this Christmas rom-com used our shop front for various scenes throughout the movie. The crew shut down the entire street and blasted it with fake snow, which was quite a spectacle. The film has a Rotten Tomato Audience Score of 81%, so could be worth a watch at Christmas, if you're into rom-coms.
Our shop was also turned into a Victorian sweetshop for the film Miss Potter (2006) about the life of Beatrix Potter, played by Renée Zellweger (Bridget Jones's Diary), also starring Ewan McGregor (Trainspotting) & Emily Watson (Harry Potter).
